Chef Jamie Gwen’s Agrodolce Grilled Chicken Wings

Chef Jamie Gwen’s Agrodolce Grilled Chicken Wings

Need dinner plans? We’ve got you covered. Today, Twin Eagles Partner Chef Jamie Gwen uses her Twin Eagles Outdoor Gas Grill to make sweet-and-sour Agrodolce Grilled Chicken Wings. If you aren’t familiar with agrodolce, it’s a sticky, tart-sweet Italian condiment that gives all the tangy goodness, packing these wings with flavor and satiating every taste. Read on to get the recipe.

Grab your Party Wings and season them with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper. Utilize the two-zone setup on your Twin Eagles grill, marking the wings on the hot side then moving them over to the cool side. Close the grill to allow them to cook all the way through over indirect heat so they turn out juicier.

For the Agrodolce Glaze, combine:

1 cup White Balsamic vinegar

1/2 cup granulated sugar

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 garlic clove, minced

A pinch of Red Chili Flakes and salt & pepper

Combine the ingredients in a small saucepan on the hot side of your grill and bring to a boil. Move to a place on the grill where the sauce can simmer slowly for about 10 minutes or until reduced and thickened.

Toss the grilled wings with the sauce and serve, with lots of napkins!
